Tour Description
This experience begins with a guided visit to Goshavank Monastery, one of Armenia’s most important medieval spiritual and educational centers. Your guide will introduce the history of the monastery, its architectural features, and the legacy of Mkhitar Gosh, the renowned Armenian scholar and lawmaker after whom both the monastery and the nearby lake are named.
Following the monastery visit, the journey continues to Gosh Lake, a peaceful mountain lake nestled deep within Dilijan National Park. Surrounded by dense forests and beautiful landscapes, the lake is one of the region’s most scenic natural attractions.
Guests may choose to reach the lake either by a short forest hike or by off-road vehicle, depending on their preference. Upon arrival, there is time to relax, enjoy the scenery, take photographs, and experience the tranquility of the area before returning.
